The library is open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on all working days except Saturdays. Saturday working time will be from 08.30am to 6.00 pm.
All the personal belongings such as textbooks, notebooks, files, bags, umbrellas should be kept outside the library. However, plain papers/note pad for taking down notes will be allowed inside.
Every student is required to record his/her name, library ID number, time of entry, exit and signature in the register kept for the purpose at the entry point..
Strict silence should be observed in the library.
The books are lent only on the submission of college I D card.
A borrower taking a book on loan should check the book and inform the librarian if there is any damage. A fine or the cost of actual damage caused will be collected from user for any damage.
A student can take 5 books at a time. The books should be returned within 14 days from the date of issue. On failure of punctual return/renewal of books, fine will be levied.
Books lent may be renewed for a further period of 14 days, if no other student has applied for the books in the meantime. More than one consecutive renewal will not be allowed.
Books that are in special demand may be called for at any time.
Books borrowed from the library are not transferable.
No damage should be caused to the books and other materials in the library.
Handle the books carefully. Don't tear the pages of books and magazines.
If a book is permanently damaged or missing, the person who is responsible for that has to replace the book with fine. If the replacement is not possible ,the cost of the book will be collected from the concerned person.
Books in the reference section should not be taken out of the library.
Periodicals won't be issued to students
All the students are required to observe the prescribed dress code while moving in the Library Block. Students not wearing the formal dress may be denied entry to the Library.
Combined Study will not be allowed in the library.
All students are requested to co-operate.
