Additional Skill Development Center (ASDC) at TIST
ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) an MHRD and Govt of Kerala Initiative, addressing the skill gap of Engineering students launched Advanced Skill Development Centres(ASDC) initially in 19 Engineering colleges across the state.
TIST signed MoA with ASAP on 15th November 2018. As part of the agreement, the institute is listed as an ASDC center and can roll out futuristic courses in association with ASAP.
The staff is trained by industry and academic experts. The staff act as mentors and trainers for students. The first course rolled out as per the association was a 600 hr Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Course.
Currently, the following courses are offered under the association.

Students can take up these courses along with their academics and enhance their skillset and obtain globally recognized certifications. The courses are the right blend of In-person training, Online Training, Laboratory Training, and Industry Internships.
The telepresence lab was set up to support the ASAP course initiatives. The lab was set up with aid of 17,22,718.50 Rs from Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd. It’s a hi-Tech lab with audio-video support, touch screen television, speaker track camera, mics, and speakers. It’s can be utilized for virtual classrooms, interactive webinars, and global delivery of content.
AWS CLOUD FOUNDATION GRADUATES
Thirty three students from Toc H Institute of Science and Technology has successfully graduated the AWS Cloud Foundation programme by AWS academy through Advanced Skill Development Centre (ASDC) launched by Govt. of Kerala under ASAP in 2021.
IBM Advanced Certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Business Analytics
Four students from the Department of Computer science and engineering technology received IBM advanced certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and one student from the department received IBM advanced certification in Business Analytics through the Advanced Skill Development Centre (ASDC) launched by Govt. of Kerala under ASAP in 2021.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Certification
Twenty-three students from Toc H Institute of science and technology got successfully certified in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course spanning 3 terms and 600 hours through Advanced Skill Development Centre (ASDC) launched by Govt. of Kerala under ASAP in 2021.
UI Path Robotics Process Automation (RPA Certification)
Twenty students from Toc H Institute of science and technology successfully completed the UI Path Robotics Process Automation course with RPA certification through Advanced Skill Development Centre (ASDC) launched by Govt. of Kerala under ASAP in 2021.
