Institutions Innovation Council (IIC)

IIC is an Initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India for selected Higher Education Institutes.

MIC & IIC

MHRD has established ‘MHRD’s own Innovation Cell (MIC)’. The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform their idea into prototypes, while they are in formative years.

MIC plans to achieve this by systematically fostering the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), by creating individual ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ across selected HEIs.

A network of these IICs will be established to promote innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion eco-system in the campuses.

Toc H Institute of Science & Technology is a member of MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC). The institution’s Innovation Council (Toc H IIC) aims to streamline and strengthen the innovation and start-up ecosystem in the campus so that the students can develop the skill set which enables critical thinking, design thinking, innovative thought process and encourages an entrepreneurial mindset.
