| 1. | The candidate should be an Indian National | ||
| 2. | The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology awarded by any University in the State of Kerala or equivalent in the respective/eligible branches, as approved by the concerned Universities. Candidates from MSc/ MCA are also eligible | ||
| 3. | In case the Bachelor’s degree is from a Foreign University in an appropriate area, the candidate must produce an equivalency certificate issued from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University or any other University offering Engineering / Technology undergraduate programmes within Kerala | ||
| 4. | The candidate should have studied the Graduate program in an institution approved by the AICTE/ UGC approved Universities/Deemed Universities in India. | ||
| 5. | The candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0in the Bachelor’s Degree Examination. For OBC / OEC reservation candidates a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 5.5 in the Bachelor’s Degree Examination is sufficient. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the qualifying examination course is sufficient | ||
| 6. | The candidate may register themselves at the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Kerala and obtain a DTE ranking. For more details visit http://www.dtekerala.gov.in/ | ||
| 7. | Candidates who have passed AMIE/AMIETE Examination and satisfying the following conditions are eligible for admission | ||
| a) They must have valid GATE Score OR a minimum mark of 55% or equivalent for the section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination without GATE score | |||
| 8. | Candidates who have appeared for the final examination may also apply subject to the condition than the results are made available at the time of admission | ||
| 9. | Candidates having valid GATE score will be given a preference over others | ||
