Several B. Tech programs in Toc H are NBA accredited. This is a distinction that very few engineering colleges in the state of Kerala have achieved and it is proof of the high quality of education at Toc H.

1. Outcome-Based education OBE: Toc H takes pride in developing graduates who are employable and are capable of contributing to society at the global level. OBE is a student-centric educational system that sets measurable outcomes of student performance – knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and focuses all activities on achieving these outcomes. These outcomes are clear learning results we want our students to demonstrate at the end of significant learning experiences. In order to implement OBE, TIST has
Developed a clear set of learning outcomes based on Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy (RBT) at different levels around which all the system components are focused.
Established the required ambience to encourage the students to achieve these outcomes.
The OBE approach builds competencies in learning, enabling graduates to cope with rapid changes around. It aims at wider recognition, transparency and quality assurance to ensure ‘learning by the student’ through effective teaching methodology leading to industry relevant graduates. 2. Students of Toc H are given individual attention by dedicated and well-qualified faculty throughout the B. Tech program. Foundation courses (for eg. In Mathematics), remedial classes and mentoring ensure that students always have help on hand throughout their education at Toc H. This has assured that Toc H consistently has a good position in University Results and has secured several of the Top 10 University ranks.
3. Toc H gives importance to the overall development of our students through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Inter and Intra collegiate Cultural and Technical Festivals are conducted every year giving a platform for our students to showcase their skills. Our students have participated in and won prizes in competitions held in India and abroad (for eg. the prestigious University Rover Challenge and CANSAT, USA)
4. Toc H is a research centre of KTU offering Ph.D. and promotes research by faculty and students through the J.C. Bose Research Centre inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The excellent infrastructure, library and laboratory facilities are always appreciated by inspection teams.
5. Engineering at Toc H ensures employability through additional skill-based training programs along with the regular B. Tech Curriculum – ASAP, SPAN, SKILL NEXT, IEDC and many more. The dedicated Training and Placement Cell of Toc H organizes specialized training programs to prepare our students for campus placements. The placement records of Toc H are proof of the effectiveness of our approach.
6. Toc H has a beautiful, eco-friendly campus close to the city with good connectivity through road and rail. College buses ply in all directions ensuring easy and swift connectivity for students. The in campus hostels for students assure their safety and comfort.
B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Toc H are NBA accredited for the period 2017-2020.
