IIWT Students’ Chapter

2015-16

IIWT (Institute Of Welding Technology) is the pioneer in the segment of welding technology education. IIWT was established in 1991 by a team of professionals to impart high quality technical education.

Inauguration

The TIST Chapter of the Indian Institute of Welding Technology was inaugurated on 8th August, 2015. Smt. K.T. Mariamma, General Manager, FACT Engineering & Design Organization (FEDO), Dr. K. Varghese and Er. C.S. Varghese were present on the occasion. Mr. Jose P Philip, Chairman, IIWT Kochi branch inaugurated the chapter. He gave a technical note on Quality of welding joints, necessity of attaining quality and welding quality checking techniques. This is the first student chapter in Kerala
