Toc H is recognized as an Advanced Skill Development Center (ASDC) by ASAP, an MHRD and Govt of Kerala Initiative, addressing the skill gap of Engineering students Courses organised as part of this initiative helps in acquainting the students with futuristic skills. TIST signed MoA with ASAP on 15th November 2018. TECHNOLODGE
(1st Rural IT park in Kerala) |
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with Technolodge, Kakkoor, Piravom in the year 2016 which is renewed in the year 2021.
This MoU aims to promote the industry-academic interaction and hence to achieve academic excellence, with the objective to effectively share the facilities and expertise for improving the capabilities for advanced education, research and consultancy work. It also aims to provide opportunity for students to undertake industrial training and projects in Technolodge for skill enhancement.
Industrial visits, Internship trainings, workshops and student projects are being undertaken regularlyby employing the benefits of this MoU. |

ICTAK |
Toc H has signed an MoU with ICTAK way back, and is recognized as ‘ICTAKPremium Member’ since 2020, where the activities are being coordinated by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
ICT Academy of Kerala, supported by Govt. of India, partnered by Govt. of Kerala, is a Social Enterprise for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the Industry.
With the support of ICTAK, several orientation sessions, webinars, FDPs, technical trainings & certificate courses offered by reputed IT industry are conducted in the campus, which leverages the link between industry and academia. The trainings are offered for students as well as faculty to interact with industry in all possible ways with the spirit of deriving mutual benefits. Students also get opportunity to participate in hackathons and techathlons organized by ICTAK. |

Freston Analytics Pvt. Ltd. |
Dept. of CSE signed an MoU with Freston Analytics Pvt. Ltd. on 23 December 2022, at Freston Office, Cyberpark, Kozhikkode. Freston Analytics is a software firm which has branches in India and United Kingdom, with expertise in the area of digital transformation, software engineering, data analytics and cloud migration.
The MoU aims to foster industry-academic interaction, thereby achieve academic excellence, achieve industry readiness, and strengthen the research capabilities. The MoU also holds an agreement to deliver KTU approved Industry elective course on ‘Big Data’ for M.Tech (Data Science).. |

ORACLE ACADEMY |
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with Oracle Academy in the year 2016 which was renewed in 2018 and 2021.
Webinars, faculty trainings and student training programs are being conducted regularly. |

Federal Academy for Cyber Education (FACE) |
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with Federal Academy for Cyber Education (FACE), a CDAC accredited organization, in the year 2021.
Students are benefitted to attend special training programs and workshops conducted at TIST campus by FACE and CDAC resource persons.
21 students successfully completed the 3 month Diploma course in Cyber Security and Forensics offered by CDAC through its certified training partner FACE. |

RedHat India |
Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with RedHat India Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2017.
The students can undergo training and obtain certifications like RHCSA (Redhat Certified System Administrator) at a discounted rate, utilizing the benefit of the MOU. 7 students are being certified so far. |

ICFOSS – Foss Cell |
International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS) is an autonomous organization set up by the Government of Kerala, India, with the mandate of popularizing Free and Open Source.
The Department CSE has an active a ICFOSS – FOSS Cell, which is group of open-source enthusiast students and teachers in the institution. FOSS Cell aims to provide promotional services of FOSS in educational institutions. The cell carries out a number of FOSS-related activities like training & capacity building, student projects, lectures & seminars, conferences and exhibitionsby associating with ICFOSS, industry and researchorganizations.
TIST has been granted ICFOSS grant continuously for the past 4 years for the active conduct of such events. Women hackathons and gender and technology coding programs are also conducted. |

CodeChef |
TIST has initiated partnership with CodeChef,utilizing which the students can foster learning and growth among those who are passionate about programming through healthy competition and knowledge sharing. The mentoring, monitoring of the infrastructure and online support will be provided by CodeChef team. Through this association, we expect that every student can be given the proper mentorship and resources to become a better programmer and compete on a global scale.
A 10 week training program to improve fundamentals and programming skills as well as coding events are currently initiated as part of this association. |

(Kerala Blockchain Academy Innovation Club |
Kerala Blockchain Academy Innovation Club (KBAIC) is a novel initiative by Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) to help students across the country to explore deep into the potential of the blockchain technology.KBAIC provides an opportunity to work closely with experts and experiment the latest advancements in this domain. This will also help students to build their career in the disruptive world of blockchain.
TIST is a proud member of KBA Innovation Club. The aim is to create a Blockchain Hub in our Institution and for experiencing the Blockchain disruption. A blockchain FDP and a student workshop are conducted by the experts from KBA. |

Logix Space Technologies [Link Ur Codes] |
Dept. of CSE, Toc H Institute of Science and Technology signed an MoU with Logix Space Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with the objective to build a coding culture in campus through industry standard training programs, research, consultancy and internships. To empower the students to be industry ready, ‘Link Ur Codes’ Coding Club, a small-scale model simulating a real industry culture, is initiated in the campus.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has signed an MoU with VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, in the year 2015 which is renewed in 2020.
Two International Conferences were organized utilizing this association, along with the support of MIR Labs, USA.

Industry Interaction/collaboration session with IndustryApps
Industry-academia collaborations are crucial in preparing students for industry roles as they provide an opportunity for students to work on real-world projects and gain practical experience. These collaborations also help students to understand the requirements of the industry and align their skill sets accordingly.
An industry interaction session was conducted with IndustryApps, a firm that focuses on Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 solutions, headed by Mr. Jayadev M. Vasantham, Global CTO (Technologist | Entrepreneur | Speaker | Mentor) and Mr. Libin Babu, Technical Architect (Alumnus of CSE-Toc H), on 7th February 2023 at Toc H campus. IndustryApps is the world’s first open marketplace, focused on providing Industry 4.0 apps to manufacturers. Dr. Sreela Sreedhar (HOD-CSE), Dr. Deepa Elizabeth George (HOD-ECE), faculty members and students from the CSE, EC and Robotics participated in the discussion.
The session also featured a Q&A session where students and faculty members could interact with the IndustryApps team and ask questions. The session provided an excellent opportunity for students and faculty members to gain valuable insights on how to bridge the gap between education and industry requirements, and concluded with a set of interesting proposals for students to take up and a team has been identified for the same.
