The Department of Information Technology, TIST in association with ISTE-BNY, New Delhi, is organizing an “Online ISTE-BNY One Week Knowledge Enhancement Programme – 2026” on the theme “Internet Crime, Human Safety and Advanced Cyber Security Practice” from 06th to 11th July 2026 in online mode.
The programme is intended for faculty members from AICTE-approved Engineering Colleges and Universities across India.
Relevance: Internet crime has emerged as one of the most critical global challenges affecting governments, businesses, and individuals. With the increasing digitization of services, financial systems, and communication platforms, the need for trained professionals in cyber security and digital forensics is growing rapidly.
This FDP is highly relevant for departments of Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, and related disciplines. Faculty members must stay updated on evolving cyber threats, investigative techniques, and security frameworks to guide students effectively. The programme will help participants incorporate practical cyber security modules into their curriculum, design hands-on lab sessions, and supervise industry-oriented student projects.
Additionally, understanding cyber law, compliance standards, and ethical considerations ensures that institutions promote responsible digital citizenship. The FDP supports skill enhancement, research collaboration, and industry engagement, thereby strengthening institutional capabilities in combating internet crimes.
