Academic Advisory Committee Meeting 2025–26
The Department of Mechanical Engineering convened its Academic Advisory Committee Meeting for 2025–26 on 8th December 2025, bringing together industry experts, faculty, alumni, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for enhancing student learning, employability, and research outcomes.

The meeting reinforced the department’s commitment to project-based learning, industry collaboration, and research-driven education, ensuring that students graduate with strong fundamentals, practical exposure, and the skills required to thrive in a global environment.
Advisory Committee 2021-22
The academic advisory council meeting for the year 2021- 22 was conducted on May 5th, 2022. The expert panel comprised Dr Biju N.(Professor, School of Engineering, CUSAT) Mr Roni Francis (Scientist, NPOL) Mr Anudas (Director, Cadillac Automation) Mr Saji Joseph (Director, DynaMEC Systems) and Mr Manoj Kumar (General Manager, Aptive Connection Systems India Pvt Ltd). Management representatives, the Principal, HOD (Mechanical engineering department), and an Alumni also graced the occasion with their presence. The discussions were carried out on various improvement prospects of the Mechanical Engineering curriculum and all the suggestions were critically analysed.
