Mentoring

Mentoring is provided for the overall development of the students. Almost every faculty is entrusted with the task of mentoring and each faculty mentor is assigned around 20 students. The mentors  develop a close relationship with the students and help them to improve their learning skills and also closely monitor their progress in studies. The faculty mentor will not change till the student leaves the department and he/she will maintain the personal details of the students. If there is any serious problem felt by the mentor, he/she will refer the student to the student counselor of the college. If the problem assumes serious proportions, the matter will be referred to a qualified senior counselor.  Parent- teacher interactive meetings are conducted regularly in order to keep the parents well informed of the progress or difficulties, of their wards.
