‘SPARK VENTURE – IGNITE INNOVATION CHALLENGE’, STUDENT PROJECT/START-UP FUNDING INITIATIVE
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIC and IEEE Computer Society Chapter of Toc H is hosting ‘Spark Venture – Ignite Innovation Challenge’, a student project/start-up funding initiative for the engineering students from any branch across the colleges in Kerala. The objective of this event is to empower student projects with financial grants to evolve into tangible products, fostering a thriving startup ecosystem. The grant amount totalling up to ₹6 Lakhs is sponsored by Freston Analytics Private Limited, a reputed software solutions company based at Kozhikode, UK & Dubai, along with its ProSEED (Professional Skill Enhancement in Engineering and Data) initiative to nurture and empower individuals to embark on a journey of professional excellence.
Proposals showcasing unique project or startup ideas from student teams are invited. Exceptional proposals will get a chance to win grant amounts ranging from ₹50,000 – ₹2 Lakhs to transform their ideas into products. The winning teams will be awarded with certificates, industry recognition, and placement opportunities at Freston Analytics. Exceptional execution will be recognized with an additional cash prize of ₹15K.
Domain: IT and IoT solutions to address challenges across various sectors including Healthcare, EdTech, FinTech, Intelligent Urban Systems, Renewable Energy, AgriTech, Sustainability and Environmental Conservation, Cybersecurity, Retail Technology etc.
