WORLD EARTH DAY CELEBRATION (24.04.2023)
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, in collaboration with IIC TIST, distributed tree saplings to students and faculties on April 24, 2023, as part of the Earth Day celebration. Around 80 students and faculties from various departments participated in the event. Planting trees on Earth Day or any other day is an easy and effective way to combat climate change, improve air quality, and support biodiversity. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, and also provide habitats for countless species. The event aimed at making students aware of the importance of planting trees and assisting them with the same.
SQUAD SKILLS (02.05.2023-12.05.2023)
A joint internship program was organized for first-year students by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Toc H IIC, in partnership with Technolodge, (Kerala’s first Rural IT park), Piravom. It was conducted by gooseBerryMedia, an IT startup located in Technolodge, in partnership with Neuralux Foundation.

Our B.Tech CSE S2 students, accompanied by Asst. Prof. Chintu P Chacko and Asst. Prof. Leema Mathew, embarked on an incredible journey to Maker Village, Kerala Startup Mission, Kochi as part of the G20-DIA Regional Meet on 31st March 2023. This immersive experience has ignited their entrepreneurial spirit and exposed them to the vibrant startup ecosystem.

A VISIT TO THE MATTER MATERIAL TESTING AND RESEARCH LABORATORY AT CALICUT (21.02.2023)
To cultivate strong links with Industry and the Institute, the Department of Civil Engineering, in association with IIC organized an interaction program with Matter Lab at Calicut on 21/2/2023. This will promote various industrial activities by the faculty members and students in association with Industries. Faculty members and final-year students had a fruitful session with experts.
NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY (10.02.2023)
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, in collaboration with IIC TIST, celebrated national science day on 10th February 2023. Various activities including a quiz competition, crossword puzzle competition, and pencil drawing competition were conducted and certificates were distributed to the top three winners. Students from various departments took part in the event.

Every year on 15th October Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s Birthday is celebrated as National Innovation Day. By giving a tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, our College Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Department of Electronics are jointly organized a Workshop on Connected devices – ‘Connect your sensors with Google Firebase’ at 9am on 15th October at College. The workshop was aimed at creating awareness among students about the significance of innovation and creativity in a vast changing world.

Compose Camps gave a great opportunity to the IIC members to ignite their innovative thinking and also to get hands-on coding experience on how to develop apps using latest toolsets in modern way.
Students got wide exposure to the state-of-the-art practices in the field of Android Development. Many industry experts delivered talks about the career opportunities & startups on Android development.

Toc H IIC in association with Civil Engineering Department organized a photography contest for the high school students as well as for the B. Tech & M. Tech students. The objective of the celebration was to create an awareness to preserve and protect ozone layer.
